Good relationships are important for your mental wellbeing.
They can:
- help you to build a sense of belonging and self-worth
- give you an opportunity to share positive experiences
- provide emotional support and allow you to support others
Share the world with the people you care about.
It doesn't need to be a grand gesture, maybe it's simply a picture with a short message, "I saw this and thought of you..."
Look at what's around you, and think of the people you know.
Why not take a picture of something that's around you and send it to a friend.
If possible, maybe try and find a time to meet up, have a walk and a chat.
It's easy to get into the habit of only ever texting, messaging or emailing people, so don't rely on technology or social media alone to build relationships.
