This is the site of a former power station, now full of wildlife. Easy access paths make it a great place to walk.

The former railway line is covered in wildflowers and bushes, and there are ponds and wetland areas that attract migrating birds and provide nesting areas for wading birds. They are attractive to butterflies and bees too.

The rotting hulks of old fishing boats symbolize the return of nature to the Wyre Estuary and the natural cycle of renewal.
